The game is represented in three exciting stages, with the first being the Summer Cup. The main objective is to complete a series of races and prove that you have what it takes to be the best so that you can move onto the fall and winter stages. Each of these seasonal stages is represented by dramatic and very detailed scenery that really adds a touch of elegance to the game as well as helping it to be more engaging.

This is definitely not a game for easy riders. Extreme Motorbikers is designed for people who want a real challenge. In addition to all the crazy obstacles and other dangers, understanding and using the controls is no piece of cake. There are direction and speed controls to manage as well as different points that make the motorbike run in different ways. People who are used to regular racing games where the controls are pretty straight forward may find that they have their work cut out for them at first.

Despite the cool scenery and other graphics, the motorbikes themselves are not particularly anything to write home about. Players start the game with a very basic motorbike that gradually becomes more powerful as they progress through the game. Even the bikes in the upper level are not exactly mean machines. However, players will need to really focus on the track to prevent hurtling to their doom, so fewer distractions are probably a bonus in this case.

Lovers of racing games who are looking for a new challenge are sure to enjoy playing Extreme Motorbikes. Although the controls are a bit tricky, the action is fast paced and exciting. The detailed scenery and selection of circuits helps to add to the fun and make this a well rounded game that will really get the adrenaline pumping.
